Steve Maltby - Managing Director, Paragon Fleet Solutions

Describe your role.

My role is to manage the company on a day to day basis and further develop the business ensuring that we recognise the changing needs of our clients with regard to the service we provide and we can support our customers to sell vehicles at maximum value in these dynamic times.

What is your background?

I have extensive experience gained from a range of roles in vehicle rental and latterly as the Managing Director of Easy car.

What skills are needed for your position?

I am responsible for a team of 400 staff across 4 workshops and a large administration team, it is important they are all focused on delivering for the customer and understanding the importance of maintaining high performance levels.

Currently, we are developing the site to provide additional capacity and incorporate the latest technology, so I have become a master of planning and all related issues.
